One of the biggest disappointments in my professional career, was not being selected for an advanced dental training program upon graduating from dental school. As a result of this good fortune, I completed a General Practice Residency program, the foundation that honed my clinical skills and made me the confident clinician I am today.
It is this pivotal experience that became instrumental in shaping my perspective on how to view professional setbacks and set me on the successful career path, I would later travel.
Anything that takes us from the path of where we perceive we ought to be; should be viewed with intrigue and channeled into motivation.

As a past Director of Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, I am familiar with ADEA’s PASS program for Advanced Dental Education as well as the National Match Service for applicant selection. Combined with my faculty experience at the University of Connecticut, I bring an understanding of both Hospital and University Programs; useful to applicants in making critical decisions for ANY dental program selection.
